Don't panic but Mum/Liz has managed to get herself in hospital with 14 stitches.
We're in Santorini and mum is in good hands.

Walking back from the chairlift at 10.;00pm she fell over a boulder and hit her head on the wall.

ReplyDeleteI just spoke to mum and have heard an update from suzanne but just wanted you to check your travel insurance policy to make sure you are covered for all medical expenses (have heard of some horror stories where insurance companies wont pay unless the accident happened specifically etc) I just quickly looked on the website to make sur eyou are covered but it's probably best if you do it yourself as it's a little confusing: as far as I can work out though you must report the accident to Zurich assist and need all copies of receipts etc but it also has conditions e.g will cover medical expenses provided the injury was accidentally caused by a sudden physical force. Just check the website to make sure you will get covered.
